2022 RDX Interior Changes
Previous iterations of the Acura RDX model offered a comfortable interior for Waterloo drives, but the 2022 model brings new meaning to the phrase “luxury SUV.” A redesigned cabin puts emphasis on driver and passenger comfort, offering a quieter ride with reduced vibrations from the road. Additionally, drivers will find that premium comfort materials and a variety of newly standard features will upgrade their commute whether they’re running errands or going on a road trip. Read more about the new features and design elements available in the 2022 Acura RDX redesign below:
- Aluminum trim comes standard on all models, with open-pore wood and Milano leather coming with the Advance package.
- Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ come standard.
- Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Change Assist, and AcuraWatch come as standard safety features.
- AcuraWatch has been upgraded with traffic-sign recognition and more accurate speed limit information.
- The A-Spec appearance package is now available with the top-level Advance package.
2022 Acura RDX Exterior Changes
The Acura RDX interior redesign will no doubt improve the comfort and convenience of your Des Moines drives, but its exterior redesign will turn heads on your commute. Borrowing design elements from the Acura MDX, the 2022 Acura RDX will feature a textured grille and wider air intake in the front, and rectangular exhaust tips on every model except the RDX A-Spec. Additionally, the 2022 RDX will also offer 20-inch wheels and two new color options: Liquid Carbon Metallic and Phantom Violet Pearl*.
2022 RDX Powertrain
Under the hood, the 2022 Acura RDX carries over its engine from its 2021 model year without updates. Drivers will enjoy a turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that delivers 272 horsepower with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive remains standard on each 2022 Acura RDX model while SH-AWD® is still an optional upgrade.
